food friday & a tucker bag.

longer days and warmer weather often means busier evenings….  at least that has been the case for the friis family.  we’ve been attending 5 o’clockish  baseball games which throws a serious {but welcome} wrench in our dinner time routine.  making some version of a sandwich, eating outside and having no dishes is a home run in my book!

anywho, earlier this week i packed food & included apples & caramel dip which attracted a slew of kids who wanted in on the goods.  aside from double dipping casualties, i was also left with a sticky mess on our trusty picnic quilt.  since it’s not something i want to wash very often, i decided that tonight i would pack the little’s dinner in a bandana tucker bag.  that way our blanket is protected from all their crumbs and drips.

simply layer your food choices on an open bandana {or square piece of fabric} and tie opposite corners together.

pretty fun, functional and charming dontcha think?
