it’s getting hairy.

yesterday was a long day, with a capital “L”.  mostly because i couldn’t stop crying (no, i’m not preggers, mom), but i also found myself doing a lot of soul searching.

armommy-hair-diy-pinterestluckily it ended with a good convo with a close friend (a few answers) and lots of new hairstyle diy’s pinned to our pinterest board.

head here to check them out…

but before you go, let us know what your GO-TO hair-do is, in the comments below!

    love your style. love your blog. sorry for gushing.

    as for my hair, when all else fails i pull it all back and let my bangs take center stage. {but then, of course, that shows off my new grays…which sends me right over to pinterest to figure out my next dye job…any color suggestions for a 33 year old mom of two?}

      hmmm…. balayages (the ombre look) are fun and perfect for spring/summer! not sure how that would work with roots, but i bet your hair stylist has a solution! thanks, kristen! xo

    Love the topknot and I am having a blast following your blog.

    Most days I have sweaty runner hair under my fave running hat and other days I rock a chic pixie(well, that’s what I was told once or twice):)

      shon, love the pixie cut… and that you are a runner! xo

    Am a top knot girl myself. Loving that it’s so in style as I just don’t have time to fix my hair these days. 🙂

    hi rae,
    So I love the scarf look and used to wear them all the time, BUT…how do you keep it from slipping out. I have never had success keeping the scarf from completely slipping off my head. Maybe I just have a weird head shape. lol And I love that messy hair is in style it makes my life so much easier. I do love the top knot, but since that has been mentioned…I like to braid the front sections of my hair and then pull them to the back and pin in place. Super easy.
