let’s picnic (the monthly spread)

back to school is here, and with it full calendars, shorter days, & an earlier wake up call.  way earlier for us now that ozzie is starting middle school.  {oiy}!

so, in an effort to help you ease back into a busy fall schedule, we wanted to share a FREE week of our meal plan, the monthly spread.  the best part is that it includes a stress free picnic menu so you can take full advantage of the sunny warm weather before the fall air and rain (if you live in the PNW) rolls in.

here are a few snaps from my family’s picnic last week.  it was lovely and delicious, but because we didn’t pack a highchair for griffey he earned the nickname babyzilla.  it was like musical food as we passed the lemonade, salsa, and such around in a circle trying to keep him from trampling it.  sort of hysterical however, we plan on doing it again this week with a highchair…  lesson learned.

Now, what I really want to know….  What are YOU looking forward to this fall?

pumpkin lattes, patches,… all things pumpkin, wearing fall layers, earlier bedtimes….

I would have to say college football.

Let us know in the comments below!

So, I just ‘found’ you via Design Mom. Your house tour was just way too cute. I want you to be my new BFF. I live in Puyallup so it could totally happen….and I mean that in a completely non-stalkerish sort of way. 🙂 Love this meal plan! Printing it out right now. Thank you!
