food friday {the big one-o}

i’ve never met a banana bread i didn’t like.

and until last week, i had also never attempted to bake banana bread from scratch.

but in the cookbook the easter bunny left for the kid’s this year, was a recipe that i couldn’t refuse.  the kid’s agreed so we decided to make some to share with friends at a play date the next morning.

it made the house smell so yummy & tasted just as good that the hubs made me promise i would make it more often.

i made a couple adjustments to the recipe from the book, but here is the recipe if you would like to follow along {click on image to enlarge}.

now for:

FOOD FRIDAY, week 10

monday: mozzarella, ham & basil panini {}

tuesday: fish tacos {the cook next door}

wednesday: breakfast for dinner {}

thursday: broccoli spaghetti {real simple}

friday: southwest meatloaf burgers {martha}

saturday: slow cooker greek stuffed peppers {martha}

sunday: pizza night {build your own or pick up a take and bake}

    i LOVE banana bread. especially toasted. with pecans. and a schmear of butter. 🙂 those slow cooker peppers look yummy!!!
