Q: what is ARMOMMY’s mission?
A: ARMOMMY is a lifestyle company creating products that provide style, design & function for motherhood. We are eclectic in our designs, merging timeless concepts with a modern twist & a little whimsy. The inspiration for ARMOMMY lies in our own desires & experiences as moms, & the mamas we know and serve. Founded by my mama and me (we are the mother / daughter team of Rae Friis and Jane Kelly), ARMOMMY serves as a place for us to share our creativity, passion, and love for all things mom.
Q: who is ARMOMMY?
A: I’m rae and the lovely lady next to me is jane, my mama. She would probably tell you that ARMOMMY is my “brainchild,” but I would like to set the record straight… while ARMOMMY is my day to day focus and love (after the hubby and four little monkey’s I’m raising, of course), without her there would be no ARMOMMY. She has instilled in me a creative gumption, a knack for resourcefulness & a love for motherhood.
Q: why ARMOMMY?
A: My mom and I have both been a single mom, working mom, stay-at-home-mom, and work-from-home mom, and have discovered that they all have one thing in common…. they are all wonderful, and they are all hard. So, quite simply, we created ARMOMMY to help. With the creation of each product placed in our shop, meal plan subscription, or idea posted on our blog, our goal is to do just that.
Q: what’s in a name…. your name?
A: Being a mom doesn’t have to be cookie cutter {hooray!} So, we’ve developed ARMOMMY to be a stylish, fun and accessible design & lifestyle brand that allows moms to indulge in their kids and family with personality and ease. Hence the name, ARMOMMY.
Q: tell me about rae and her tribe…?
A: Let’s start with the fam bam (pictured above), since they are the best part of me. (So far) we roll 6 deep; Johan (yoder) is the man of the house, ozzie (12), espen (6), tilly jane (4), griffey (almost 2). Our home is typically well loved and full of energy… a nice way of saying messy and rambunctious….. m o r e t o c o m e .
